Income tax department has declared that linking your Aadhar with PAN is mandatory for all citizens. Public advisory said that if you don’t link your PAN with Aadhar then your PAN card will not be operate. If you link PAN-Aadhar now, then you are liable to pay penalty. The deadline date of linking PAN and Aadhar is 31st March 2023. According to the Income tax Act 1961 , it is compulsory to all PAN holders , who do not come under exempt category.
